9255 – O’Shaughnessy (X-Long Shank)

The 9255 O’Shaughnessy is a forged, heavy-duty hook specifically designed for use with large spoons and other elongated metal lures. Built from hi-carbon steel, it delivers excellent strength and durability while maintaining reliable hook-setting performance.

Featuring a Cut Point for effective penetration and an extra-long shank (X-Long), this hook provides improved leverage and secure hook-ups when predators strike aggressively. The ringed eye allows for strong, dependable rigging with split rings or leaders.

Finished with Permasteel® coating, the 9255 offers enhanced corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding saltwater conditions as well as heavy freshwater applications.
