Inside, a 12HPB + 1RB stainless-steel bearing system works together with a Carbonite High-Output DFD drag system—enhanced with Cal’s drag grease—to produce up to 25 kg of smooth, consistent stopping power. The specialized titanium spool shaft reduces flex under heavy load, while the oversized C6191 brass main gear and GSS-stabilized pinion gear provide maximum torque and durability.

The Tesoro also features Okuma’s Flite Drive™ system for effortless rotation, a machined aluminum screw-in handle for direct cranking power, and a DLC-coated Even Flow Line Roller for reduced friction. Sizes 8000 and above come with a manual bail trip and a reinforced rotor brake system.
